Heart is mysterious. We never know what inside the heart exactly is. Even if we had a sense power in knowing what people say in their heart, we never be able to know it accurately. That's why God gives us heart used to convince ourselves, keep some words that are not suitable to say, and take care of sensitive feelings that other people are not able to know.
Even Holmes can't deduce someone's heart.
